Mixed reviews on the Cabela's website. I'm in the market and need to replace the cheap $25 plastic Adirondack chairs you can buy at Target/Lowe's/HD.

Love the foldability, but the reviews don't make me want to jump on this deal.

I saw these yesterday at my local bass pro...looked and felt cheap. Even looked small for some reason. I decided to stick with the plastic ones I have as I actually think they will hold up better to the Florida elements.

Save your money and buy the proper synthetic ones. They cost a lot more but will last a very very long time.
Fully agree with this. Any wood product will require hours of upkeep sanding and refinishing every 2-3y. My synthetic ones were about 3x this price but 5y in still look brand new with no maintenance.

Plastic ones cost $20 and more years ago.

I now see them for $35, $60 and more.

These chairs suck. They're poorly made and didn't hold up at all. Do not waste your money.

I think by synthetic he means like "Deck Trex" and not the cheap "plastic" like at HD or Lowes.

No specific product but they're all very similar. They're in the $150-300ish range and I've seen them as low as $140 on sale (here). As another poster said though, totally worth it because of limited upkeep and life span versus wood (even hardwoods) that will require regularly maintenance especially if you don't protect them with covers/regular refinishing.

Also yes we're talking about the poly lumber chairs. If you really want to waste your money, get those $20 resin ones in front of Walmart.
