Me too, exact same experience. Pretty awesome.
This IS the disc version right? Nothing shows up when i control-F "disc" on the website
Just got shipping notice on mine. Interesting mine is coming via FedEx Home with Signature Required. Supposed to arrive tomorrow. I did choose the Express Shipping option but not sure if that made a difference. Would have preferred UPS.

Correct. The non-disc version is the "Digital" edition and are priced $100 less ($399, $449 for bundle), respectively. You can see them on the site, it you scroll down a bit.
Also does the regular shipping with 12 bucks require a signature when it arrives?
Trying to send it as a gift and prefer no signatures

Can't really answer this one for many reasons.
1.) Seems Sony is using both UPS and FedEx for deliveries. How they deal with signatures varies wildly.
2.) Earlier on during the pandemic FedEx was simply signing for you and leaving the package. As recently as maybe...2-3 months ago? I had to sign for some expensive RAM delivered via FedEx Express. I live in a gated community and was doortagged the first day and they wouldn't just leave the package, so it varies wildly on how seriously the driver takes their job and whether they feel it's safe to deliver it. I was luckily home the next day and signed for it and had it handed off to me.
3.) Having said that, FedEx Ground/Home drivers are contracted drivers and don't really give a shit. Mine is coming via FedEx Home with indirect signature, which means ANYONE can sign for it (including them I guess....), so they will likely just leave it at the door but I will be home tomorrow so I'll let you know I guess if they actually want me to sign for it lol.
If you get it shipped via UPS, in my past experience, UPS is super serious about having you sign for it and will make me drive an hour away to pick it up at a center if I'm not home to do it or miss them.
So very 50/50. Can't really answer this question, just because it's super variable.
