Good price on a decent keyboard. Just a heads up for those getting the clicky optical (purple) switches: I bought one of these a few months ago and there was an extreme amount of metallic pinging on a lot of the switches. YMMV but it was so loud I could hear it over my headphones. I have many other clicky keyboards from multiple brands (including Razer) but none with the amount of high pitched metallic pinging this keyboard has. It was truly excessive. If you're okay with that, it's pretty nice. PBT keycaps are definitely a plus, though the quality isn't the highest. I ended up giving mine away to a friend since the noise was so bad.

I have a Hunstman V2 Analog, and its been a nightmare with the software constantly killing the keyboards input. I informed razer support, and they said its a known issue which you have to use a secret razer support tool to uninstall the drivers... I have to do this weekly. Waiting on a different keyboard from ducky to arrive instead.

How does this compare to the logitech G Pro? I bought a couple of days ago and might think about returning and getting this. ( Also super new to PC gaming)

I have this from a previous Best Buy deal. I assume it's the same one that came with a free mouse. It's INCREDIBLY sensitive and will often type a whole row of whatever key I'm grazing against. It's also very CLACKY which I love - wife hates.

I'd also love a ten key deal to replace it at some point.

Edit - order history shows Huntsman TKL tournament edition.

Love how little desk space the keyboard takes up. I am always shifting around other devices on my desk so having a bigger keyboard was getting too much in the way. If you are new to this size of keyboard, the fn key needs to be used for the arrow keys located on I,J,K,L. Also not having the function keys available as hotkeys without pressing fn can also be a deal breaker for certain games. That said if you value your desk real estate and can sacrifice needing the fn shortcut keys more immediately, this is a nice price for a mid-range 60%

I have the Huntsman TKL Tournament Edition with linear optical switches.... it's fine.

Once a day or so a key get's "stuck" and will string along characters forever until I press another key to stop it. It's definitely firmware/software related since pressing another key stops the "stuck" key and I've pulled caps off and wiped down the deck and used compressed air to blow out the switches. That actually leads me to the best feature, since the keys sit on top of the deck instead of recessed in, it's VERY easy to clean compared to other keyboards.

Switches are compatible with any Cherry style keycap, EXCEPT the spacebar and bigger keys like shift uses a different stabilizer than most keycaps I can find.

That is exactly why I bought the Razer Huntsman V2 TKL (Linear optical switches gen2) because it has a sound dampening pad built into the keyboard. Precut for all the keys. so there's no echo bouncing off the metal bottom.

Great keyboard at this price point. Be aware that it is EXTREMELY clicky. Personally, I love how clicky it sounds for short periods.

I personally prefer my Glorious GMMK 60%. Being able to change the switches is a huge plus, I want to mess around with WASD and spacebar specifically. AND ITS WHITE.
82.99 on Amazon and even comes with a sample pack of switches so you can find out what you like best!

**edit** comes stock with brown switches, nice and quiet. Suggest purchasing Glorious Pudding keycaps with it for $15, makes the aura from the RGB pop nicely off the brushed stainless.
