Anyone know about this brand & quality?

I don't know much about bike brands. But this looks ike a decent bike at a decent price. A lot of the cheaper bikes on sale seem to have tons of quality problems.

Walmart only has a handful of reviews.
The manufacturer website has lots of good reviews for these though.

Black is also on Sale at $148 [walmart.com].

I almost bought this last week (don't remember the price) as it seemed better than the other "cheaper" Mountain Bikes. I ended splurging for something a bit more expensive [amazon.com] reminding myself that the boy who I bought it for has two younger brothers that will hopefully use it one day. Also, I had Amazon Rewards points I used which helped Smilie. Again, I don't remember what the price was last week but If it was $148 at the time, I may have gone with this.

Nope, not you, but the kid that you are buying it for would need to.

As far as Walmart bikes go, this probably isn't too bad.

No garbage pogo stick "suspension" , simple 1x drivetrain.

You could do worse for $150.

I bought two ST50s from Walmart and both boxes were damaged on arrival, parts were missing. It was not possible to assemble bikes. Returned, Not worth the time.

It's called a "flatbar". It's the same thing that is sold on over 90% bikes. This one has about a 50mm rise to make the rider sit more upright.

It's just your typical Walmart bike like most of the country learns to ride on. It's bottom of the barrel components, but the purpose of this bike is simply to give a kid a bike for a couple of years until they fit on a 26" or 27.5" tire bike.

If you really want quality, you'd have to find a wealthy family that bought something like a $700 Specialized Riprock and try to get it for $200. The kid will still outgrow it pretty fast, but if you have three kids that can hand it down, this is the best option.

I bought one from the last deal, I ordered the S frame so my family 5.4 - 5.10 can all use it by adjusting seat height only. It is a solid bike for park riding. Decathlon is a very famous sports company, similar to what we have here in Dicks but carry their own brands only (think kirkland and costco) When I was a kid I lived in France in 1990 and I have knew Decathlon since then. This bike is manufactured in China, and the screws are metric. I would say the QC is up to par with a bike of this price range.
