I never bought anything refurbished form them, however a did buy a few "open box" deals a while back that were 100% sealed brand new!

The NO stand is because the TV was sent in for work at one point, or was swapped. When that happens they dont ask for the stand cause the buyer will need the stand when the replacement arrives.

I have never seen a BNIB TV be sold without a stand ever, it would make no sense, they know not everyone hangs their TV's or has the mounting hardware.

Looks like you are only saving $200 but since your getting the extra warranties I guess thats not a bad deal.
