Not saying these are bad in any way, but for $1,999 list price these shouldn't be made in China.........Sad to see.
What does it matter where they are made? Even KEFs are made in China. Both are frequently praised for their quality. The fact that they are made in China is the only reason you can get this level of speaker at an affordable price. The new Aston and the Dovedale lines are being made in the UK and cost 10x as much.

While I 100% agree, considering the finish quality on these, they would cost $5000 if made in USA. When we can't get workers at $15-25 an hour to fill positions, we can't compete with a country paying a small fraction of that.

The cost of labor in China is also rising rapidly. In a few years, these might be made in Indonesia or Nam instead.

Whats wrong with China? If they are building at the company's spec, shouldn't matter if its China or Italy or Canada. We live in a global economy and stereotyping countries needs to end in this day and age. Of course I'll be the first to prioritize a locally manufactured product, but not based on stereotypes but on its merits.
Can someone please elaborate on the 5% cash back via paypal? Is that using paypal where a Discover credit card is used as the payment source within paypal?
Nice find OP. In the future you might include the normal price in the deal post so people understand how slick it is. Thanks

Yes, starting July 1st. Ensure you activate it on your card because credit card companies make you do that.

Even though it says free delivery on their site MD may charge extra for shipping depending on if it needs freight delivery which probably depends on how they're packaged. All in one might need to be shipped on a pallet, individual boxes and it's probably just a bad day for the ups driver.
With no DSP driver correction, no advanced port design, no driver protection, no amos, no placement correction, and no coaxial drivers, I'd recommend these as an aesthetic purchase.
For an audio purchase, get a Kali IN-8 v2 and sub.

The matching stands are pretty heavy duty. I don't feel like it was an afterthought.
I was very impressed with the finish of this, and even how they were packaged. I am very surprised these things cost below $3,000
