Is there any advantage to getting the Extended Performance oil which is more expensive? It says 20k miles though. Or is either the Advanced Fuel Economy or the High Mileage one ok? Just wondering what to buy. Thanks for any advice.
If you do an annual oil change and never get over 10k miles in the year, then Extended Performance is probably a waste of money. You have to change your oil every year and use a mobil EP filter to get their claimed 20k warranty.
From my various research I believe the oil will hold up for 20k but I haven't seen any data that suggests it will do a better job for the initial typical oil change interval.
Personally I change my oil in my toyota/lexus every 10k but I still buy the EP because, at least now and in past rebate cycles, the rebate is higher for EP products and the resulting price isn't any higher. And despite best intentions there have been times where the reminder pops up on a road trip with a thousand miles left to go or when schedule is busy and I have to put off changing oil.

Only use high mileage if your car has has mileage on it, it has additional additives specifically for high mileage cars.
Basic rules of thumb when it comes to oil. Change it at the interval your manufacturer recommends, especially if it is still under warranty ( if you are going to go past, use a quality oil meant for longer intervals along with a good filter ). Use the specific weight that they recommend.
Manufacturers do a lot of testing and you do not know more than they do, I don't care how many YouTube video's you have watched or if your 2nd cousins step uncle on your mothers side was a fluid dynamics engineer before he retired 30 years ago.
What will we be asking about now when discussing this deal?? =)

Think it has a few more filter options

I loaded up on Pennzoil earlier in the year with their $25 gift card for 10 qt. So I have a lot of Pennzoil ultras right now.
For those who can't wait until 7/1, Pennzoil rebate is also still live until 10/31/22. Walmart eligible

We'll see if they lower their price on the other flavors during the rebate period, currently $24.47 = $16.47 AR. It was closer to $22 a few months ago.
