I ported to Cricket several years back when they had the 5/100 deal. Over the years, they had several good deals on their locked phones, I've used them for 6 months and they become unlocked. I think the best deal several years back was from Best buy where I brought a cricket sim card, $40 prepaid refill, and a cheap dumb nokia phone. I would return the sim card used the refill and sold the nokia phone at ebay. heck, this was one of the better deals,

Many people are upset because they are no cancelling the grandfathered 5/100 deal. In my circle, I have one person who uses little data and another person who uses alot of data. So Cricket don't really have family plans that cater to this but offer everybody the same plan like one size fits all model.

Their pricing model is stupid, with right now the best deal is the 4/100 deal where everybody gets unlimited data while 4 people on their 10gb/month plan will be $110.

Because I live in NY so when I try to purchase ATT prepaid card, it adds taxes + fees.
Here how I dodge the taxes + fees from Kroger.
  • Add the att prepaid card to the cart.
  • Check out as Guest
  • In the Billing information, add your credit card and your credit card billing address.
  • Only change the zip code elsewhere, for my case, I use 94102 (Cali zipcode)
  • Only pay 30 cents for 911 fees.

The 10gb is at full speed (not deprioritized) and the 4/100 is throttled based on other users in your area that get full priority.

This trick worked .thank you. How long does the gift card take to arrive. I ordered yesterday night and still haven't received the gift card. Only order confirmation so far.

How do you change the code elsewhere?! The only place to enter a ZIP is on the billing page, if I enter the Cali one the payment doesn't go through.
