I can't tell if the promotional price is for one term, and then it renews at the regular price, or if the promo price is ongoing. I don't see anything that clarifies this. Anyone know?

I just did a chat to get my question answered. Chat was a real person, and came on quick on a Saturday morning, btw.
Monthly promotion rate is not locked in for renewal. Agent said, "plans may change and also we can have better plans than this in future."
Yeah I'd rather use my Amazon gift cards than give that company my credit card
Their website seems a bit vague about throttled post-softcap and hotspot speeds, but the price is definitely right compared to most plans posted lately. I can envision certain users implementing this as home internet plus unlimited phone for $15 a month, if throttled speeds are at least in the 2-4Mbps range.
Is this company safe for portingout? Don't want to risk my number
I'm wondering the same, I bought a 6 mo plan with a website that had the same color scheme called black mobile off an SD deal 4 years ago. Long story short, they weren't authorized to use t-mobile. My number was lost they claimed they sent me texts and emails about it, but I never got any. It's not worth the risk for me to try some unknown mvno again.

I highly doubt that throttled speed will be more than 512kbps, and likely in the range of 128-256kbps. Okay by me for the price, but I'm just giving you the real world expectation. My mum didn't hit the soft cap last month, so can't say what she saw.
According to a chat rep. for the company: hotspot functionality can be added for $5/month, hotspot data is not limited so you can use your whole high-speed data amount for hotspot if you want, and they can switch the plan that's sold on Amazon to eSIM after you get the physical SIM. Also iPhone 14 is supposedly compatible with their service...Just a few questions that asked them.
Does anyone know about international use abroad? I'm currently on mint and their data allowance is starting to fall behind others and their international usage use to be a very simple pay as you go option and now it's a flat daily rate significant higher than I was ever using before. Hotspot is included though which is good

Would love to know as well. Was successful with LycaMobile a few times but they are giving me a hard time right now even when I have my most frequently dialed numbers available. After I get these last 2 phone ported out from LycaMobile, I'm never going back.

MVNO's generally aren't great for international uses, so get a different provider instead. If your phone is eSIM capable, check out www.esimdb.com for a list of providers for the countries you're visiting.
If you travel internationally a lot (more than 6 times per year), perhaps you should consider Google Fi instead.
