Maybe for you. Ubisoft gives this away for free like every Christmas season. It has also been free on Xbox and PS. Additonally, Epic games has given it away for free on PC.

Only on PC, was never free on consoles.

Not as good as the original, because the storyline was more gritty, impactful... the sequel was ok but really felt like it was pandering a bit to the "new generation" and trying to be cool with the script hackers... but still a fun open world game. Fairly easy achievements too if I remember.
