I don't know if Ozark trail offers replacement poles for this style of tent, but if they do, i don't imagine it would be hard to replace. The pole that is used for the private room is pretty generic and not "instant", for whatever that bit of info is worth.

The only downside to the private room that I have found is that because it juts out, you need an extra tarp, or a really big tarp just to cover it, if there is bad weather. Not a deal breaker though.
