You can repurpose used pasta sauce jars (or any glass jar), better than having edible items sit in plastic for a long time.

Seriously concerned about studies that say we ingest a credit card's worth of plastic each week, microplastics found in our blood, breastmilk, etc...

I have these and they're awesome.

I use them for oatmeal, brown sugar and dog food. They keep it all fresh and I open and close them fairly regularly

I bought a 4 pack if the larger size for 18 bucks I think. I didn't need so many of them

Mine are 4L versions apparently https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/...title&th=1

Regardless they are great.

I'm also careful with my plastic usage, but I think it's going way overboard to worry about storing dry items like beans in plastic.

Plastic is good for you. It builds character.

I've had the 14-pc version for a little over a year now and they've held up nicely. I use them in the pantry and also in the fridge and haven't had a single one break.

You get what you pay for. These are not solid and clear like OXO. They are flimsy and have a milky se through appearance. Good for light use.

Funny, I bought these to replace my OXO pop tops, where either the container broke because it was dropped or was used to scoop flour/sugar, or the lid just fell apart. The clear plastic oxo uses is very brittle.

I paid $36 for the 14 piece (true 14 piece, not 7 containers and 7 lids) and have been happy with it, maybe the only thing I don't like is I would've preferred more of the smaller size containers.
