That would leave the fall for Apple to introduce new iPad Pros, new M2 Mac mini/iMac and leave the "better" M2 chips for early '23. The current M1 Pro/Max/Ultra models only came out in late November '21, so it's not like there should be a rush to refresh them after only 11 months.

They were discounting the 16" models quite frequently, and did have the 14" for $1749 ( which is when I bought one ) ..
I'm quite sure that sale will be back. When ? That is anyone's guess!
