Some chargers can brick the switch since it has a charging spec that isn't covered by some chargers due to fact that it used usb c before the specs were standardized
Can i charge my cell phone high speed also? It also has a USB-C connection
yes. we have one just for that in one car (pixel 5 and 6). getting this one for the other car now. beware the USB heads can get pulled off with rough treatment from kids.
the powerA version has a braided cable, which won't fray. both are officially licensed by nintendo

Any comments...?
there are a hundred billion fast charging standards for android. some support multiple standards. some support none. we can't read your minds to figure out what phone you have. nintendo charged uses the "USB-C PD" charging standard. so if your phone supports it, then yea.

Honestly, has that ever happened? I've heard this line 8000 times but the evidence seems better for the existence of bigfoot.
To me the mere concept is just plain silly. Nintendo would purposely design out of spec (and dangerous) charging requirements for the Switch yet have it ship with (currently) the most common connection for laptops, tablets, and cell phones. You'd think if it was unsafe or risky to charge a Nintendo Switch using any quality charger / power source....Nintendo would change the port to something proprietary AND have countless class actions against them for existing units AND have an official statement urging customers not to use any ol' USB charger with USB C versions of the Switch. None of those are true yet all would be if there really were a real world risk.

Also not all cables/chargers are of a decent quality and people like to cheapen out on them
That's why I said "quality charger / power source." Just because someone once did something the cheapest way possible and it failed does not mean the method is substandard, just their implementation / materials. Have you ever eaten a bad pizza? Does that mean all pizza is bad?
