It means that other stores like Best Buy who sell Apple TV will not be including the gift cards with purchase.

You cannot return gift card so it will be deducted from your return and obviously you have never used apple tv before to know that this is one of the best TV interface you will ever see. No ads, no crashing apps and no stupid errors. The interface is simple and everything is of top quality

I assume this means a next gen product is coming soon. I wonder what it could bring that would make it worth waiting for? 🤔

I was already considering a phone upgrade this fall, so I might just jump on this and save on that later. Capital One Venture card has a 3% cashback link as well

Basically making the Apple TV 4K 32gb a really good deal at $129 if you have good use for the gift card. I got the 64gb one from the last promo that Amazon and BBY ran last week I guess. Looks like this would come out to be a bit more expensive if you factored in tax. Paying it on full prince vs paying it on a discounted price on BBy it Amazon. A difference of $5-$6 in NY.

Kind of an odd thing to include in the post. I bet you someone will. There's no way for Apple to monitor if some sells their purchase later on. There are resellers for practically every product, even people who resell a product that they shouldn't be reselling e.g. hand sanitizer, baby formula, etc.

They usually update this every 2 years or more, current gen is from 2021.

This deal is only slightly better if you roll your discounted gift cards you got from previous deals.

The Apple deal is good through 7/14. Waiting for Prime day is a good strategy to see what Amazon does. Perhaps they have a large inventory to clear out like Apple, wouldn't that be nice.

You forgot the most important part. The interface for Apple TV won't end up being laggy after months of use.

Smart TVs stutters very frequently, Android TVs are okay.. I enjoyed my Shield but with the 9.0 update, the UI has been laggy.

Switched over to Apple TV and it has been smooth and I'm sure it'll stay that way since I haven't had problems with Apple devices lagging over time.

Android TVs are nice if you're wanting more flexibility and customization though.

Not the same generation. But then again the difference from last 4K Gen to this one is very negligible. The remote however is a huge improvement over the trackpad style that the other Gen had.
