Is this a good deal? i see an "open box" one available for $200.

I guess my question is... are prices going to keep going down over the next few months? If so, I will likely skip this deal and just wait for lower prices on either a 5700x or a 5900x.

Thanks

Isn't there a coupon for $50 off the $300 5800x (in store only)? Not sure if it is still active

If that's the MicroCenter coupon, it's no longer active, but they do have a $25 off coupon now.

If you have an mainboard that got a BIOS upgrade for the 5000 series Ryzens and you're currently running a 1000 or 2000 series Ryzen, this is really a big jump in performance. Now with the cheap DDR4 it's a good time to upgrade IMO.
