How do you qualify for $10 prime savings? I tried putting 3 of the antifreeze in but it did not take off anything so I didn't place the order.

I think the $10 Prime savings may be from this deal.

If only this was on sale a bit earlier, I wouldn't have had to drive to the store. Oh well.

If anyone is wondering, this is compatible with most coolant regardless of the color.

Though if you're losing coolant, you should really have that looked at, because it could end up being catastrophic. I say that, due to my recent adventure with a leaking radiator, which could have destroyed my engine, had I ignored it.

I'm using the equivalent Prestone in place of the manufacturer specific pink stuff with no ill effects.

Is this green or orange color liquid. I'd hate to mix em.
I found the answer....This coolant was green-yellow in color just like what you see in Prestone bran

For getting from A to B in a pinch, add distilled water when you can't get the exact coolant type.

https://www.taligentx.com/passat/...t_Cool.pdf

This "universal" coolant can work, but it'll degrade the longevity of the existing coolant' protection. This means you need to replace the coolant sooner to maintain protection of the parts and engine.

It might also result in unintended side effects that damage.

Eg https://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/...ant-color/

That's why adding distilled water is safer in the long run for the short term top up.

But all this is mainly for the long-term owner like me running my car 17 years, 200k+ miles from new. Those that buy and sell more frequently and keep cars less than a decade old are less likely to suffer from mismatched or universal coolant.

If I want to do a full coolant flush will this destroy my 2012 Toyota Highlander? Teach me your car ways.

No, but you should probably pickup the Toyota pink stuff from the dealer. They're having a 4th of July sale.
