Anyone else have a hard time considering buying a TV less than a 55"?
No, but only because when they built our house (2001), the built-in TV cove was designed to only hold a display 45" wide (because "who would ever have a TV wider than that?!!"), so 48" is the largest that will fit. Frown

Otherwise, yeah, 55" seems like a good size for a living room.

Thanks, OP. Finally pulled the trigger.

You have to manually start the pixel refresher cycle, it will run when you turn the TV off. I do it once a month but you can run it once a week, don't see why not.

Well that might just be the WORST advice I've ever seen on here lol Jesus...

When I go to checkout, it's saying I will get the 5% cash back in rewards. Can you let me know where I could get the other 5%? Or is this 10% targeted offer? This is my first time using Amazon prime cc

Sale looks like it's over, luckily for me I had a Costco order in my cart saved and was still able to check out. Also I think that 10 percent is only for some accounts but not sure.

What a bummer, I was waiting for a reply here on the questions I asked. Tho I'm sure now that this price has been tested it will come back. Also, it doesn't seem like it's easy to protect from burnin for PC use except to trigger manually (in which case I can just use the PC's screensaver and not bother with anything else). Sucks that you can't provide your own pics to the slideshow.

I can guess why you said that but I want to hear it from the horse's mouth. I'm assuming burnin happens much quicker than on a month/week timescale? Doesn't seem like it's easy to live with primarily for PC use if one cares about burnin. Pixel shift can't really help much since just an icon can be pretty big, unless you shift it by 100+ pixels.

Dude burn in is almost a total non issue. You're so over paranoid about it , it's insane. I had my tv for 2 yrs now 15 hrs a day its been on pc and games with huds. Not a single issue with burn in and I've NEVER ran the manual pixel refresh because DUH it wears out the pixels. You're not supposed to run it freaking manually. It runs itself every 2000 hrs. AND it runs a light version after being on after just 4 hrs EVERY single time. Running it manually yourself weekly is beyond stupid it just wears out the tv lol...my god. 11,000 hrs in 2 yrs not a hint of an issue. But just to be non paranoid I bought it from best buy with burn in warranty. But since the C9 the oleds have killer burn in protection.

I ordered but have a delivery date of August 31. I don't have a problem waiting, but what are the odds it actually gets fulfilled?
