Sony 65" X95J 4K UHD HDR LED Smart Google TV $1299.99 (Free Shipping) YMMV on shipping now depending on location
Includes Apple TV+ FREE for 3 months (new or returning subscribers) https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony...Id=6459306
Also eligible to receive 5 credits to redeem on latest release movies and 12 months of unlimited streaming of Sony classics with BRAVIA CORE. https://electronics.sony.com/bravia-core
Finally 💯. Was waiting for a deal like this. Just ordered. Sony's flagship LED TV from last year 😌
Cancelled my Sony 65 inch a80j order that I placed on Best Buy a few weeks back ($1362 + tax since Best Buy price matched the Amazon deal at the time). OLED is dim/dull and not worth it IMO, even in a dark room. Correction: ok OLED may be good if you're watching nothing but movies (like literally movies only and nothing else) as if you're trying to emulate a movie theatre, since movies at the theatre always seem to be dim. But anything else, i.e. tv shows, news, music videos, gaming won't look so hot on OLED because they'll be dim
Be advised many of the Sony TV feet are so low that your TV stand may block the remote signal.
Low stand and or wall mount is perfect.
I have constant problems with my OLED because the TV is amost flush against the stand. I have to point it at the ceinlg to get it to work.
However it is hard to beat Sony quality and picture. Build quality is still excellent for most of their line up.
I recall when Sony upper-tier TVs had nice thick pedestal stands with a glass base.
Now all we get is weird little feet and IF we're lucky they're not made of flimsy plastic.

I loooove the center metal stands on old Bravia sets. So sturdy and the narrow profile makes them versatile across all kinds of TV stands. My old 50in Bravia is sitting on a swivel stand intended for 32" units and it looks great.

Yeah you're right. The millions of people that bought them made a mistake. Incredible that you cracked the code though

So for regular TV viewing and streaming this would be better than an OLED like the A80J?...
