About this series:- Vash the Stampede is a wanted gunslinger with a habit of turning entire towns into rubble. His path of destruction reaches across the wastelands of a desert planet. Oddly enough, for such an infamous outlaw, there's no proof he's ever taken a life. In fact, he's a pacifist who's more doofus than desperado. There's definitely a whole lot more to Vash than his reputation lets on.

It's confirmed to be a sequel to the original series, not just a reboot.

I think it just comes down to however you first see it. I can't watch Trigun subbed because I first heard it dubbed. Likewise, I can't watch One Punch dubbed because my first time was subbed.
EDIT: That said, anytime there's an opportunity to support Trigun, I'm gonna spend money.

Anyhoo, if they have to go full CG, then I can't quite fault them for changing the look: they'll never win trying to ape the original in CG, since it will just look like a bad copy, so they're better off going for something stylistically different. Pragmatic answer anyway.
But then again all we've seen is a very brief trailer. There's plenty of probably good stuff on the way. Chainsaw Man, S2 Mushuko Tensei... and weirder stuff like S2 Panty & Stocking... Why a S2 of that now? I guess the animators missed it... it was an interesting project to say the least... and we're now apparently getting a S3 of Spice & Wolf, which I cursed for a long time on not getting but it's been... what... by the time we see it it will have been 15 years since the end of S2? I can only hope they don't CG the hell out of that too.
The dub was fine for its time, though there's some real nostalgia diehards who will murder you over besmirching Johnny Yong Bosch's name or something.
