Ironmaster has everything on their site 10% off. For example, the quick lock 75lb set is down to $782 with free shipping. What's even better is that you can also stack with Police/Fire/Military discounts for an additional 10% off. This brings the dumbbell set down to $703 shipped. This is a good deal considering they rarely have sales.

Did a ton of research before buying adjustable dumbbells. These seems hands down the best quality out of everything out there.

I went with powerblocks since they were cheaper and were actually in stock, but if I were to do it again, I'd strongly consider these. I think you'd have a hard time getting these to break in any way. The screw mechanism is so strong, and best of all, you can treat these like actual dumbbells. Can't do that with anything else out there (plastic parts, awkward sizes, etc).
Ironmasters are solid and well built, but it's a PITA to change weights compared to quick adjustable dumbbells. There are much better options these days, especially if you don't need more then 75-80 lbs.

Yeah I remember a few years back coming across these. I considered selling my powerblocks and getting these just never pulled the trigger. If power blocks are still made similarly, you can rest easy. I've had my powerblocks for near 14 years. Super old version I think though, mine adjust from 5-90lb. I used them near daily for about 5 years. On and off still at least once a week. Not tossing them, because if you can't set it down you don't need to lift it. Everything still slides and works fine.

Check out nuobell and powerblocks.

Nuobell are the absolute fastest to change weights and keep the classic dumbbell shape. They are criticized for having some plastic parts, though I've never heard of anyone actually having any issues.

Powerblocks are also much faster than ironmasters to change weights, though not as fast as nuobell. They used to be a great value buy but recently drastically increased their prices. They are known for durability. Biggest criticism is the shape. They have kind of a cage that goes around your hand. There are a couple exercises this might make difficult.

Both are similarly priced to the ironmasters, though they may have lighter weight versions that are cheaper. I'd get either before the ironmasters solely based on the time it takes to change weight. I lean towards the nuobells because I like the shape and don't drop my weights. Get the powerblocks if you want to be able to pass them on to your kids. There are cheaper adjustable weights out there but are slower to change weights, bulkier, and/or cheaply made.

Edit: Neither of these are necessarily better than ironmasters. It just depends on what you are looking for. Ironmasters are built like a tank and I really like the shape. Relative to the other two, they do take much longer to change the weight. Personally, these are the only three adjustable weight systems I would consider.

I can nitpick either powerblock or IronMasters since I got both.

Lol if you need convincing to not buy one over the other, let me know and I'll talk trash or praise one over the other if you want LOL

Just to add, the Ironmasters can be configured to go up to 180 pounds with the necessary add ons. Useful for guys that want to dumbbell press or farmers walk heavy. I'm already up to 135 DB press with my kit and I couldn't imagine being stuck at 90 pounds with the other sets.

I've got the 45lb set and stand. Yeah it's annoying to switch, but you get faster at it.
Will probably sell them as I'm slowly adding fixed dumbbells since I moved from an apt to a house. Anyone in NJ and want some, lmk

Iron masters will last forever, keep that in mind. Also they can be dropped, not advised of course but they won't break from being dropped.

These are great! I sold my Bowflex SelectTech 1090s towards the beginning of the pandemic for more than I bought them for and ordered the Ironmaster dumbbells, stand and kettlebell. They do take a little longer to adjust weight but I no longer have to worry about dropping them or plastic parts breaking.

I have the original super bench. 15 years old and still fine. Getting a few attachments. I use powerblocks for dumbbells but I've heard these are probably it's closest competition.
