Cons:
- The top grain leather feels very cheap: if it was not advertised as leather match, I would've assumed it was PU everywhere. If it is truly top grain leather on the seating surfaces, it is the thinnest top grain leather I have ever felt.
- All the storage areas and the drop down table aren't that easy to open. I can easily see someone's hand slipping eventually and scratching the paper-thin leather/PU. They're so annoying to open my GF won't even use them unless I open the table for her.
- Speaking of the drop down table, I pulled my down just twice and one of the hinges already ripped a hole in the PU covering the table's side. With the way it's designed, these hinges will constantly rub against the sides and there is no protection against it. It's just rough metal on PU.
- The cushion on the middle, non-reclining, seat is far more stiff than the ends. It's not uncomfortable if you are sitting solely on either one of the ends or the middle, but it makes it extremely uncomfortable to span between two seats (e.g. if you are lounging across; I suppose they figured that everyone would just recline on one of the ends instead).
- The power delivered by all the outlets and especially the USB ports is very poor. Note that I have the plugs directly connected to the outlet.
- Speaking of plugs... yes, there's more than one plug, and the wires are vastly different lengths. One is quite short and the other considerably longer. Not a huge deal if you happen to have an outlet right behind the couch and use some cable management. Using an extension or powerstrip made the above mentioned lack of current even worse, so I opted just to shift everything a bit and do a direct connection.
- At the time only the "gray" color was available: it wasn't gray, it was just straight up black. I assume they just relabeled it black for this listing. Regardless I wanted neither black nor gray, but the brown color was not available at the time (nor this time is it even advertised as an option at all). This one is more of an opinion but this sofa in black just seems a bit on the tacky/college kid side, although I doubt it'd be a great looking couch even in brown.
- The table lights have adjustable brightness but the top setting is not very powerful nor is the direction adjustable. Ironically the cupholder LEDs are waaaay too bright and only have on/off modes.
- As others can attest, Costco Logistics is very hit-and-miss as they contract out much of the large item delivery work. My experience was pretty bad. Several delays, EXTREMELY poor communication. My delivery was about a month late. At one point after failing to deliver unit without explanation or notification twice, I was elevated to level 2 support and Costco found out that the contractor lost my sofa.
- Overall it just looks and feels like a pretty cheap sofa.
The Pros:It's not a omg crazy luxury couch. But the leather is nice, it's a little stiff but comfortable (maybe it'll break in presumably) it's definitely heavy.
It's my first power recliner so I'm not a huge fan of the angles of the couch/headrest. But if I use a pillow behind my head it's comfortable.
Absolutely wouldn't pay 1500 for this thing
But I'd say it's probably solid value at this price.
I've only had it for a month, so I can't exactly give you a long term review
But I am satisfied with my purchase

I think it ended up being 899 or 999 AFTER accounting for the shop card.
So possibly the same or minimally better.
My complaints are that the side arm rests are too low and the middle fold down table is too high for an arm rest also. I also wish it were more comfortable to lay across the couch for sleeping or just a change of position sometimes. It's okay, but it's not great, the low arm rests make it less than ideal this way too.
I was lucky they had it in store on display back when in bought it so I got to test drive it. These shortcomings were all obvious when I tried it and I still bought it because the price is alright, and mostly because it's Costco so I wasn't worried about issues.
