You can upgrade 4k at Microsoft using the Microsoft (Windows) Store app on a PC. Sign out of the app and then click to purchase the movie in 4k, The app has you sign in and then allows you to purchase the movie in 4k. I've done it a ton. The website won't allow upgrades like the app, which is strange.

Wow, how did you find these? I keep checking their weekly 4.99 specials and none of these are even listed. Bought Dunkirk and Goodfellas so far.

Same price at fanflix. These redeems directly to moviesanywhere. This is nice if you're upgrading from HD to UHD.

the only ways to obtain 4K in your situation is to either redeem a 4K code in Movies Anywhere, upgrade to 4K through Vudu, or wait for it to be $5 at iTunes and gift the movie to yourself and redeem the code through iTunes.

hahah i appreciate it, but yeah i meant specifically through the microsoft store, to try to get the rewards points. thanks anyway, though! the fanflix deal does have some good stuff, too..but alas, no way to get further discounts (like for vudu/microsoft/itunes gift cards)
