If you go to theater to purchase the ticket, you give them your amc stub membership number, even the free one, and it should drop the price to $5. No convenience fee on the theater purchase.
If you purchase their yearly premier stubs plan, it gets rid of the convenience fee online. It pays for itself after sometime so ymmv.
as a note, this used to be $5, then went up to $5.50 or $6.50 in a lot of markets, and stayed there, hence the "new lower price" of $5, which is presumably everywhere again, which is great! especially for those of us with a-list and want to bring other non-a-listers with us sometimes
Did you go through adding the ticket and trying to get to the checkout? Usually it shows full price until you hit the last page before payment and as long as your Stubs membership number is there it drops the price down to the promo price.

I just happened to go to the theater for the first time in 3 years this past weekend and paid for Stubs again to avoid the convenience fee and use the line for Stubs Premier member at the concession. I happened to see the $5 Tuesdays offer and went again today. $25 for a family of 5 to watch a new movie is a steal. Large Popcorn was only $3 with a $5 reward that was in there so even better.
Stubs Premiere is currently $7.50 for the year. You get a free large popcorn and drink on your birthday month too. You can waive the online fees for Fandango and Atom Tickets.
I should have sold mine stock when is hit $73 a share, was holding til $100 too gready , bought them when is $1.99 a share, everyday the news says they will go bankrupt I took a risk. Still holding them let's see what future will comes.
Date night to get laid, hang out with Kiddos, big screen and sounds, nice seat thought, something more enjoyable than watching from home and got disturbed from wifey.

Went to Top Gun Maverick in local AMC yesterday. Though the movie has been out for a few weeks, theater was packed. No social distancing and masks not mandated. I don't think AMC is doing that anymore.

Yes, I went through the whole process. I have A-List and went to my first weekly movie last night. It went down to 0 because of A-List. But it never showed $5. The FAQ does say "
Please note, discount may vary by location."
Well I would use this next Tuesday as I have a $5 Fandango code expiring.. I will try some more theaters further out. Thanks

Nice
So I have been using the Tuesday deals for a year now but my local AMC is a dine-in one so it was never $5, always $6.50 since they treated it as a special theater. We went last night and the tickets were actually $5 this time so they definitely changed something that it's now actually $5.

Does anyone know how many tickets can you get per membership? Are you allowed to get tickets for friends and family or yourself only? I don't see it on their FAQ
