I'm looking for 27, 1440p, gaming oriented which really just means minimal input lag and Freesync.
4k already have. don't want 32, 1440 cause pixel density probably not good for me. So this seems perfect bang for the buck, no dead pixel then gg

not sure if the acer refurbed quality
otherwise this is like top of the line 27 inch gaming monitor

I ordered this 27" Monoprice Zero-G 2560x1440 1500R QHD 144Hz VA Curved Gaming Monitor @$179.99 on 7/02. Shipping is delayed so I've had time to 2nd guess my purchase & wanted to ask this brilliant collective a few questions, because I am not as smart as all of you:
I'm learning that the Monoprice is a VA monitor vs IPS & read up on that here [tomshardware.com].
❓Any opinions on returning that VA panel & going for an IPS panel like the one in this post to get a lower response time, brighter screen & better viewing angles?
❓How does this refurbished Acer compare to this 27" Acer Predator XB271HU WQHD 1440p 144Hz NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS Monitor @$290 [amazon.com]?
Also, that Monoprice monitor has none of the syncs, G-Sync, Free Sync, Kitchen Sync . . .
❓How much does that matter while gaming on a monitor like this?
I recently bought the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro Gen 6 Laptop, which has an 16.0" IPS panel (2560 x 1600, 165Hz, 500 nits, 3ms response, i7-11800H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB) & would like to upgrade my monitor to be a similar experience.
❓Any recommendations for a comparable monitor at a similar price point?

Or perhaps this 27" ASUS Tuf 1440p 165hz Gaming Monitor @$200 [ksl.com], also local?
