Only extended warranty worth a damn is the one from Best Buy that covers burn in. That's if you care about that of course.

The 77inch C1 uses the same evo panel as the G1 and you can turn on the added G1 brightness from the service menu (at your own risk). I'm doing the same with my 65 inch and it looks the same as the G1 I returned.

Hahaha you beat me to it! I was literally just about to make a post for this. I made the post for the C1 65in being sub $1300 but I didn't notice the 77 for some reason.

Any thoughts on extended warranty options? With extended warranty in some cases the buydig is cheaper.

Yeah burn in is important to me - but Buydig thread says CPS has burn in coverage for $79 4 year warranty

As noted from someone else, looking at the shipping charge before finishing the order. It can easily make one of the other recent deals (i.e. Costco) a better final price.

YMMV Best Buy might price match this, if they don't try to find a Magnolia inside of a Best Buy. The sales reps in there have room to negotiate and make aggressive adjustments so a lot of times they will help you. These TVs are no longer price protected by LG which is why they are dropping so fast at so many places
