From BrandSmart USA, price matched to Best Buy online. They matched for me even though I'm like 8 states away from a BrandSmart. It's in another SD thread.

Picked up the 65in a80k on the 4th. It looks like this is a good price drop since the release.

I saw some reviews that said the evo panel is in all the a80k sizes, and compared to the C1 I was seeing people prefer the image processing on the Sony. I will say though that 77in C1 deal is tempting, But I think this 65in a80k at the same price of the c1 is probably a much better picture.

Kind of funny that the 65" is $500 cheaper than the 2021 model now ($700 if you include the 10% cashback). Still, the 2021 at $1,353 a few weeks back was the better deal. The improvements on the 2022 model aren't going to be worth $450 to most. It seems like Amazon is intentionally holding inventory of the 2021 model by keeping it at $2500, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another deal on Prime Day. Question is if it will go lower than $1,353?

I really wish I would have taken the $1353 deal. Hoping we see that price again but not so sure at this point

How could you verify the evo panel inside a80k? Is there any specific specification we can check ourselves?

sorry, can you pls tell me how you are getting the 10% cashback. I realize it's 5% cashback using the amazon visa card, what's the other 5%? Thanks

Make sure you select Amazon as the seller and you should see "Get 10% back on amount charged to an Amazon Prime credit card" above the price. Also, make sure you do a one-time payment as you won't get the cashback on any payment plan.

Saw it on a YouTube video, how in the a80j it was mainly in the 77in but on the a80k was both

It's on a Lightning deal right now for $1400 + 10% back with Amazon Prime credit card. That's $25 cheaper than the previous low of $1353 + 5% back.

Thanks for the heads up! Ordered. I got the Asurion extended warranty against my better judgement, but I just hate thinking of not having some kind of protection. The 10% off pretty much covers that too, so it is what it is I guess
