Overpriced. They're playing with pricing and timing. They hiked the price of the 65" 80j above the 80k which is pretty ridiculous.

This has also been the best buy sale price for months and months and months. They are replacing these with the K series now. These should all be on clearance, not just the standard sale price. Soon, but 1699 ain't it.

For those who have watched these things in years past, does Sony bring the price back down after a certain time or event? I too have noticed the K being lower than the J.
Wanting to get a 77" J from Costco and hoping it goes on a deal like back in May.

I'm on a hunt for the 65" but looks like they don't want you to buy. Went to a best buy where there are 2 80Js and asked for manager's discount as its over the newer model they were like "so get the new model". I guess they have no incentive to move these units anymore. I may just wait for newer models to fall further on Black Friday
