Pick out specific pans that fit your needs. Don't buy these big cheap sets. You'll get a lot more time out of the products for your money.
Avoid nonstick in general except for maybe one 10 inch pan just for eggs and fish/delicates.

They've been mostly dishwashed and while not super slick nonstick anymore, they're not flaking or showing any metal either.
