Interesting. I guess I just misunderstood it when I got my Prime VISA card years ago. I have earned over 200K in points from that card. Recently used some to get a free MacBook Pro 14. I do recommend a factory reconditioned one from Vitamix direct. I've had two factory reconditioned bought from Vitamix, came with a new container and tamper and the base literally looked unused, and they have been everything people boast about. But, the price on these new ones is way too good to pass up if it is the model you are looking for. Plus you get a longer warranty than the reconditioned. (Mine is long after the factory warranty and runs like it was new.)

Good deal. Got a red 7500 last July for $290 SD, Works great, with the look feel and mass of a sturdy commercial unit. Loud, I store over-the-ear phone type protectors on top of the jar. The power and rpm were required for what I blend. I don't need or want the automatic versions. Consider the reconditioned on sale to save another $100.

edit: Is the wide low sufficient? I get excellent results even with small quantities as long as I ensure that the blades are covered with liquid. Complaints stem from user error. I often blend for an under 20n oz single serving. I grind coffee in my wide low. To make use of what is left behind after grinding I make a smoothie or a glass of warm milk so no coffee goes to waste.

After years of struggling with cheaper blenders I got the explorian 310 refurbished for $190 at the end of 2021. I have to say that this is was a smart purchase for me. The thing blends very smoothly, much smoother than the Ninja my parents have, but also it's so easy to clean: I don't have to worry about slicing my hands, and easy cleanup makes me want to use it more. I will make smoothies in it several times a week, with frozen fruit, nuts, seeds, and ice. Add some water and blend for 30 seconds and it is silky smooth. No fuss, just does it's job. Yes, the downside is it's loud.

That volume difference is huge. I think I would get the 7500 just because it is that much quieter.

IT'S 100% worth the $200 price difference. Ninja and those small blenders won't blend leafy vegetables well. It's nasty
