Pharmacist here, and you don't know what you're talking about. They do an ANDA approval for the generic. Has to show extremely close pharmacokinetic values, enough to show that it has bioequivalence.

A better analogy is that your Model S could be from 1 of a few factories. Each use a different plastic component in an area of the car, that you can't see, that in no way affects the quality or specs of the car.
It's the same
Sorry, that analogy is not applicable to how drugs work. Generic meds have the exact same active ingredient + amount as the brand name. This is regulated by the FDA. However most people use the brand name when referring to generics because it's what the med was named when first released (during exclusivity). For example most people will say "I took a couple Advil" when they really took a couple generic Ibuprofen. It's not deception, it's a common way for people to communicate so others know what they are talking about. Besides, it's clearly labeled in the title, description, and the linked website.

With how bad my allergies have been this year generic Zyrtec was just not cutting it. So I went to buy a supply of generic Allegra and the price difference is pretty steep in most stores. Unfortunately we don't have a Costco within reasonable range. So even though it's a bit more online, the savings is still considerable compared to other retailers.

This website rated Allegra (and its generic) number one allergy medicine overall.

The post title is misleading, flat out wrong and designed to make people think the post is about the Brand "Allegra".
It is not, it is for a generic version of Fexofenodine which is again NOT Allegra.

It's like saying "Tesla Model S I Automobile, Ford Fusion" Sure they are both cars, but obivously different.

Change the title, remove Allegra and put in Kirkland.

Not a pharmacist here..but the pharmacist is 100% correct. Geez. Science from someone in the field who went to college and comments on a thread where his expertise is pertinent. ON THE INTERNET. Who woulda thought? On slickdeals? WOW. Has to be a first. Normally its the thread crapper who hope to rise to the level of Incel someday,

Great deal. Usually its 10 for like $20 or something ridiculous last time I paid for this.

If I didn't stock up last time I was in Asia I'd be all over this deal - I bought 240 180mg allegra tablets for about $6. Knew a guy who knew a guy who sold these in bulk to hospitals and pharmacies. I take as needed esp since my omicron symptoms were pretty close to my allergic reactions.
