I saw in my google play points screen that there were now some apps listed where you earn a small amount of points for installing selected apps. The only stipulation is that you keep them installed for a day. It took all of 10 seconds to click and install all of them.
Normally play points by themselves are not that great, however, I recently found out that you can convert 100 play points into $1 of google play credit, which is much more useful.
To earn this offer, just click the link below and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You should see a category called "Get points for trying new apps and games".
