I was at BJ's in East Meadow, NY and saw this deal. Not bad for a wood fire pit so early in the summer!

I got one a week ago. Decent for the price. Comes with cover, stick and grated top. Legs are a bit tough to install as the holes didn't line up well. Don't expect it to last but a couple summers but that's OK. It's needed to burn small dropped branches.

$40 is good....but I wouldn't pay much more and the regular price is ridiculous

Agree. Used 55 drums near me are $10-20. Then there are the feet...if you want them.

Cutting a drum in half isn't much fun unless you have a plasma cutter.

Thanks OP, in for 1. I'm not a BJs member but you can sign up for a 1 day "guest pass" and it was $43 shipped to me. Not bad even if it only lasts a few seasons.
Our old pit rusted out and we have a bunch of paperwork we can burn when the weather gets a little chilly.
