I was at BJ's in East Meadow, NY and saw this deal. Not bad for a wood fire pit so early in the summer!
https://www.bjs.com/product/berkl...0003391799
Edit: It is now labelled as clearance online and dropped to $39.98. Thanks tinyoff for being the first to point this out.
The deal expires on 8/3/22.
Edit 7/15/22: Appears to be sold out online, but inventory still available at some B&M locations. YMMV.
The Berkley Jensen 35" Wood Fire Pit with Cover is the perfect complement for cool summer evenings with family or friends. Enjoy the calming sound and comforting aroma of crackling firewood. When need be, remove the mesh spark guard and efficiently tend to your fire with the included poker. Extra deep design provides a long-lasting fire. It is toasty enough to keep you warm well into the chilly fall season. Lighter than a traditional solid brick fire pit, this lovely Fire Pit can easily be moved to shelter inside during harsh weather using the included PVC cover for added protection. Warm up or admire the fire in complete safety with this barrel-shaped outdoor fireplace, perfect for family party and friend gathering.
Enjoy!

$40 is good....but I wouldn't pay much more and the regular price is ridiculous
I probably would have at least smiled if he said Charley Berkley… terrible terrible terrible
Yep... a Redneck fire pit and most city buyer's don't even know it.

$40 is about what it would cost for materials, so seems to be a decent deal. Perhaps paint with some heat paint now and then and it will not rust out so quickly.
There were six of these left midday at my local BJ's in 17011.

Cutting a drum in half isn't much fun unless you have a plasma cutter.
Our old pit rusted out and we have a bunch of paperwork we can burn when the weather gets a little chilly.
