Just get the Legion 5 Pro https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/...gn_id=9383
But...why though? Looks like the 12th gen is slightly faster than the Ryzen. Same specs otherwise.

I think the main differences are:

1. Legion has a QHD+ screen, one of the best out there VS FHD on this one.
2. Legion has 150W GPU vs 140W GPU on the Acer.
3. Legion has DDR5 memory vs DDR4 memory on the Acer.
4. The Acer has the better and powerful CPU

Also you know the Legion is proven machine, with very good thermals and build quality. (can't speak for the Acer).

Anyway, it seems the Walmart deal is dead.

and also ryzen don't have usb4 or thunderbolt 4. Otherwise it'll be very easy choice.

I mean, those are good, but 99% of people right now wouldn't need the full capabilities of it.

Yea...maybe right now. But 2yrs from now you'd be regretting it. Laptop of this price range I expect to keep for more than 2yrs

But that would depend on the mobo —not the GPU — correct
