Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
When a retailer scams people, I don't see the problem with those people warning others.
It's great that you've never had a problem but that doesn't change the facts. GamersNexus did a video on the subject proving it.
What's worrying is that there are people who, despite the evidence available, would rather sweep it under on the rug.
I don't have an issue with people talking about their personal experience and when it happened but if they're just riding the bandwagon and regurgitating something they heard somewhere, that's a different story. Alot of people saw the gamers Nexus video, but I never had any issue with them for 20yrs.
Anyways the deal seems to be dead
Never had a prob yet people can't help but complain every thread. Enough already.
I do a bit agree. Newegg isn't so bad. I've used them for 20 years. It's not as polished as amazon. I'll say that. but that's a hard act to follow. I do appreciate that new egg does everything in their power to keep costs down. It's pretty clear. Just look at the prices. They are who i bought my 1080 ti 5 years ago for 400. I have full confidence that if anyone can get 3080's back to >600 it will show up there first. IMO that's what matters. I don't need a foot massage. I need better prices at this point. The main issue is buying a good card that doesn't' sound like a jet. If i could get an xt at this price i 'm buying it. It's exactly what i'm waiting for.If not waiting for 7000 series or nvidia new stuff.
I tried the 3080 ventus by the way. It's really loud but for a 200 delta since this isn't the xt i might consider that. I had to return the 3080 i couldn't' stand it. The other thing, im more leaning in the amd camp with fsr and the driver improvements. I do software and with linux becoming a major thing, nvidia was a bit of a pain with multiple gpus which i still do. amd doesn't have that issue. I also wasn't that impressed with ray tracing though some are. Also worth looking at it to see if you care. I was completely underwhelmed. i know of folks that really like it though.
I 'm personally looking for decent 4k gaming and max fps/$.

I continue to order from them for almost 20 years, and haven't had a problem..., yet. I'll continue to use them, until I have a bad experience. That doesn't mean I'm sweeping anything under the rug. It only means I'm either lucky, don't order enough, or Newegg is better than the video shows? I don't know.
