I'm in the market for some new ear buds, mostly for work, but also for the gym/running. This looks like a great deal, however, the Airpod Pro 2s are rumored to be released in September.

Air Pod Pros have been at this price point several times in the last 6 months. I purchased 2 sets of AirPod Pros from Costco when they were on sale. I returned the first set because of static. I returned and bought another set and experienced humming and a clicking sound every 3 seconds in the left one. In addition, after connecting to my iPhone the warranty was less than 10 months instead of the standard year. Both boxes were unopened. Contacted Apple Support and was told to return them to Costco immediately. The sale price was great however, something was not right. I have an older set of Air Pods and never had a problem with them. I wondered if there was a quality issue. I decided to wait until the new Air Pod Pro 2 comes out later this year. Well, it was announced Apple has recalled these.
