I bought a couple of months ago when it was like 612.00 it been a good laptop. Did upgrade the ram and ssd though.

After battling the "do I need it?? for an hour", finally pulled the trigger to upgrade my i5-2410M laptop to this.

Combining my expiring dell rewards, the $120 AMEX statement credit, and SD CB it should come out to around $473 which is cheaper than my laptop 10 years ago that was also on slickdeals!

I'm pretty sure Dell includes tax in the calculation, but if you want to be sure, just buy filler to get it over 599

Insane price for this, not the best screen but for sub $500 you can't really complain, wouldn't hesitate buying this. This will play anything at decent frames as long as you tweak the quality accordingly.

Congrats. Smoking deal with the 120 AMEX. I bought the AMD version of this about a month ago at 650 before the 120 AMEX. Wish I had waited.

Side note. Prices on tech are free falling right now. Who knows what kind of deals will be available around black friday.

Probably depends which bank and card do you have. I have Amex card issued by Amex bank and you can see all deals in Offer section .

Easier than that. Opening this laptop is easier than Slim Inspiron 5000 and 7000 series Laptops. Once you open the back plate, all the components are accessible, including Ram, SSD and Network card.
