That keyboard is 133% more expensive than this one. I need 1 backup keyboard and a 2nd keyboard just for building computers so this deal is great for my 2 purposes where I'm only spending $29.98 for 2 keyboards instead of $70 for 2 of the Z15's. If you're going to use it for extended periods of time every day as your main keyboard then I'd agree with you that the Z15 is a better choice, but for my 2 purposes this is the better choice.

I got the other one. Both deals are great and I love free speech, open debate and America!

I'm sure it's a better product, but not everyone is into mechanical keyboards. This one at $15 is great for ppl don't care about mechanical keyboards.

The Z12 is very nice for $15. It has a bit of heft to it just like a mechanical keyboard, and feels way more sturdy than those flimsy keyboards packaged with Dell or HP desktops. The cable is braided too.

Having used this keyboard wouldn't recommend often for me the actuation point is so high I find get a lot of extra keypresses espeically on home row often getting things like "ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff"

Just my thoughts others may like it.

I'll never understand why so many gamers want clicky-sounding keyboards.

My take on why gamers might like this keyboard is the polling rate is 4000hz rather than 1000Hz. That fraction of a second might win a game or two with FPS games.

The switches on the Z15 on sale are silvers which are much less clicky than the bronze switches.

The mechanical version has linear switches, aka not clicky.

Yeah I get irritated by young gamer comments from time to time but never forget I was one back then.

The reason I don't need a mechanical one is due to only having the time to sit on it at around midnight after kids n things done. Quiet time.

Because the switches are a lot better. The membrane keyboards are trash.

Thank you for posting. I'm leaning towards your choice. But I'm glad the OP posted and got the conversation going.
