Meijer included quite a few helmets in sales pretty recently but they're regional to the Midwest and it required purchasing on the app but picking up in store. I got them practical BOGO free with the 3 deals that all stacked

If you haven't seen them in person, note that the helmets are rather small. Not sure what the scale is but I was a little surprised when I saw them on display at a Lego store.

With the price of Lego, a 1:1 scale helmet of any kind would be crazy expensive and there would probably be a lot less demand for them than some of the other UCS sets.

Is it just me or is the free shipping on orders of $49+ not applying? I've got a subtotal of $51.98 after discounts and it still shows $15 for shipping

It's because the base price of the helmet is $47.99, then a little bit more for tax. The tax amount does not apply to the shipping threshold. I think that's the way it works anyway.

Yeah I researched them a bit when they first came out and saw on a YouTube video their size and skipped. I think if someones a Lego + Star Wars fan and they like the look of it, its not bad at all and theres a guarantee of it increasing in value over time too.

I built mine a few months ago and actually yes it would be stable for that. But I don't think it's necessarily tall enough. It's roughly 6 inches tall.
