Previous deals show this around $155ish. Excellent price.

I believe this is the one I bought my son for his PS5. No complaints, has worked good for several months.

I decided to get the acer curved 27" with 165hz for $109 on Walmart. Is this better?? My boys are gamers and I'm clueless. Lol

This was in my cart from previous search. Made the purchase after noticing a price drop just minutes ago. Then it shows up on the front page. rtings review is worth reading.

I think both are fine choices curved or flat is probably more of a preference. Other thing you may consider is this one is an IPS panel (better viewing angles) and the acer is a VA panel (worse viewing angles). If you already purchased I probably wouldn't bother the hassle of returning it for this one.

I have this monitor as a second monitor next to a 38" ultrawide. It's been great for what it is, the IPS screen is better than the VA screen in most monitors in the sub $200 27" category.

I forced some VERY TINY text and it doesn't look ipad sharp like the monitor next to it. In real world use it isn't a problem. The ultrawide cost 10 times the price and needs a high end graphics card to game on with a decent FPS.

Personally, I found 1080p below 24" too dense for comfort, so I didn't go 1440p until 32" where it had the same DPI. I found 27" 1080p perfectly comfy, until some sites started getting redesigned with stupidly large fonts and whitespace. Even then, I just had to zoom out to 80-90% to make them tolerable. Everything else was still fine.
