If you want an over-ear headset with a directional noise-canceling microphone, this the lowest price point for one. Yes, the lack of bluetooth makes it a bit of a niche product, suitable only for WFH and PC gaming, but it it is a great fit for those situations. It provides noise isolation, no lag, does not pick up ambient sounds and has much greater distance than BT.

Got one last time. Good sound and works great. Didn't realize it wasn't bluetooth or normal wireless. It uses a USB dongle to connect.
For gaming headsets usb dongle is desirable due latency issues with BT.
I bought this a few months ago for $40 and have been loving it for WFH meetings. I can walk around the house and unmute from a button on the headset if needed. No complaints about sound quality either

Thanks for clarification. Almost pulled the trigger until I didn't see Bluetooth icon on the box. USB dongle kinda sucks.
You are probably better off with something like this:- https://www.ebay.com/itm/284821835112
Although you must remember these are mostly not meant for high quality audio like music but more adjusted for audio calls (clarity/treble etc) !
I use a single ear like below which is one of the best for phone calls (very clear for the other party due to long boom mic) but of course look a bit odd if you go in public...lol https://www.ebay.com/itm/334286790593

Do you know if the wireless ones have sidetone or mic monitoring where you can hear yourself speaking?

Yes it's generally comfortable but sometimes I wear it with only 1 ear covered and the other side clamped next to my ear to hear outside noise or to give an ear a break

USB dongle is preferred over Bluetooth since Bluetooth is laggy and has lower bandwidth than USB dongle. You'll hear your callers in higher def and they'll hear you clearer too with 2.4ghz wireless compared to Bluetooth.
