The $160 price is not for their refurbished headphones, which I think is what most people expect from Secondipity. That price is for headphones marked as "used", which are usually about $20 cheaper than their refurbished headphones. I assume they're doing function checks or maintenance on damaged products, which is why they think they can charge more for the refurbs.
Refurbished WH-1000XM5s come to $184 ($220-20%). Still better than average, which is about $200 in my estimation. I think this is about as cheap as they've gotten, but people should understand what they're buying at each price point.
I eventually returned it because the Left and Right output was not balanced, meaning the left side was slightly louder than the right.
It felt almost as comfortable as my old QC35, but does feel warmer. The sound from the WH-1000XM5 was definitely better, but the L/R imbalance was a deal breaker. I could have received a defective unit, but just a warning for those who purchased to really test them out.

We've been seeing the refurb XM5 mostly in the $200 range. Though, they did drop to $184 in a thread back in April that got +50 on the Frontpage.
