EDIT: While I was compiling it looks like someone else posted the same deal - sorry for the duplicate but it was inevitably impossible to avoid...
Looks like Prime Day Early Access just kicked off with an explosion! I definitely grabbed a 3-pack of the newly release eero Pro 6E from Amazon directly.
Be sure to click the trade-in link to see if any of your products in your home match up with the system. I have a super-old Google OnHub router that collected dust in my basement and will be gladly claiming the $2 gift card.
Trading in an eligible device will take an additional $174.75 off the price IMMEDIATELY, bringing it down to $244.25 before tax
Do not trust the pre-supplied list. Search for your router and select it. The cheaper and older, the better! Be sure to select the correct model otherwise they will claw-back the $174.75 when they evaluate it upon arrival. Be honest about its condition! The condition of the trade-in does not affect the 25% off discount.
I sent in a old netgear router, and Amazon received it on Jul 8, still the 25% is not activated. Not sure wants going on. CS agents are giving same BS that the processing is 14 days. While my echo dot trade in triggered the same day once the item was received

It depends on the items and the account.
Best case, for certain deals they issue the credit and discount as soon as you submit it.
Most often, they issue the discount once they get it.
Worst case, they won't issue it until they fully test your trade in.
Could be worse. I did a trade in and found there is no mention of a discount, just the gift card. Nothing triggered after a successful trade-in either.
The 25% trade-in discount immediately applied to my cart at the time of purchase, same with the gift card (which I didn't really care about since I just wanted to trigger the 25% off deal). The system "honored" the fact I will be sending it in and charged my card $244 plus tax.

Trying to replicate...Was the trade-in router in your purchase history or did you have to search for it?
I would stay away. I have a 3100 sq ft home and 1gig connection. The wireless speeds fluctuated all the time between 100-200 MBps. Replaced this with deco Axe5300 6E from Costco and couldn't be happier - consistent 400+ speeds throughout my home
If the promotion doesn't apply to your account to bother with customer service. I've been bounced around all forms of customer service (with a completed trade in where the code wasn't applied to the account). Customer service has no idea about the trade in promotion and will act like you have 3 heads (they kept asking if I got the gift card, not understanding that was distinct from the 25% coupon).
