FYI therabody is a pain in the ass to deal with warranty. Several reviewers stated that they give up or had an extended warranty bought.

Got the 1st gen from Sams a few months ago ($179 clearance).

It sounds like a freaking motorcycle. So loud.

I actually laughed out loud the first time I used it out of disbelief at how it sounds.

I have the elite this is great price never had issues and use it 5 days a week, quiet and does the job, has a great app also

Yeah, those were the old models. Step up and buy a new one with brushless motor, or go cheap and buy one 3 generations old and complain about it.

Shouldn't be a problem if you buy from a reputable retailer. Not sure why people still shop for counterfeit products at Amazon or Woot. It's the weirdest thing to have read Amazon sold 300+ million items on Prime Day. I thought it was universal knowledge that Amazon sells fake products from their commingled inventory they share with 3rd party counterfeit merchants.
