Got this last time it went on sale, it's great, but it is frustrating spending this much on a tv and seeing the lights from living room causing glares, possibly due to panel, maybe the q85 is better at limiting that. But if planning on keeping it in completely dark room, you should be fine

I don't, but it's pendant lights that behind my living room couch in the kitchen, as well as hall way ceiling lights that are to the side of the tv. down fall of open spaces I guess

I've noticed the reflection handling is pretty bad on my tv too, but it's really only noticeable in darker scenes. Usually the brightness of the image overpowers the reflection

This is one of the brightest and allegedly best TVs for fighting glare. Have you tried pointing your TV down? Look at the rtings reviews since you're probably not going to find anything better.

I didn't like the look of a tv that big pointing down, but I agree it's supposed to be the best, which is why Im frustrated. I'm not sure how to add pics but able to share

Will Samsung ever drop the price this low for non-EPP/EDU customers? I've been waiting, but it's so late now that I assume the answer is no.

I'm trying to use my wife's Education discount. Do I have to go through Unidays to get the extra discount applied?
