And color calibration using an iPhone with LiDAR technology. You place the phone near the center of the tv, and the Apple TV will adjust your TVs colors to match what they should be. (It will not touch your TV's actual settings). It's done internally on AppleTV.

It's not fanboyism, these are facts based on tests done by AV enthusiasts. The higher the bitrate, the better the quality.
Devices like fire sticks, chrome, and roku are great for the average user. Not knocking them. But if you have a nice 4K TV, especially larger sets like 60"+, the quality of what's streaming is going to matter more.
And, just like any other apple device, it just works. I've watched full movies and shows without any problem. The user interface is extremely easy to navigate.
