Dang sorry! It usually posts automatically, I was trying to avoid duplicates as that often happens when I'm too careful lol. It's $449 down from $549.

I have prime and for convenience getting it off Amazon is a better deal. I don't even have a B&H in my state.

It ended up being a $15 difference after taxes for me between Amazon and B&H

Why isn't price in title? I thought that's required on SD?

It's a shame that these have 1Gb Ethernet. Even the newer 22+ models still have 1Gb.
A 2.5Gb port, bought in bulk, goes for <$4.
The latest WD Red Plus drives will saturate 1Gb, even if you have 2 of them combined.

I bought it from their site, don't even think B&H still has a storefront but if they do pretty sure it's just the one in NYC.

Yep but it won't be $440 for a while and it's a minor performance bump from what I saw.

If you dont need 4 bays the 2 bay QNAP was way superior or if you want 4 bay for $440 you can have the 4 bay version. Hardware suprior and software equivlant to a lot of people superior from my own usage.

While QNAP probably gives you better hardware they've been really bad at stopping ransomware. I would steer clear just for that alone.

Also for anyone wondering this was the same price as black friday.

So does Synology, last year it was hit 3 or 4 times.

Qnap is a lot more open to the internet, if you dont open it to the internet by default and you update regularly you will be fine. I have had multiple Qnaps for many years and not a single one has ever been infected in all these years.
