You're conflating the remake with the original.

If you have an active PS+/PS Essential member ship, you can upgrade your PS4 copy of remake to the PS5 version (which gets you better graphics/graphics modes, photo mode, faster load times, PS5 controller features, etc.) but you will NOT get the Intermission DLC that's PS5 exclusive/included with the PS5 release of the game advertised here.

If you pick the PS5 version on Amazon, you'll notice it says "Intergrade" afterwards as it includes the additional Intermission DLC. PS4 does not say that.

I got very confused so I have the fr remake for PS four do I get this for free or is this a completely different addition and do they have it as a separate DLC

There's a rumor that this will be in the July games for PS+ ( I forget which tier ), so if you have that and aren't in a rush to play the game you could wait a week or two to see if it's true.

Has the yuffie dlc ala cart ever dropped below 20? (I have the ps4 disc to ps5 upgrade)

Absolutely loved FF7 Remake. Put in over 100 hours and got platinum. I had never played the original FF7 but after finishing the remake, I bought the original on Steam and put in 40+ hours into that. Can't wait to see how they handle the last 2 parts of the remake trilogy. The Gold Saucer and City of Ancients will be interesting to see.
