Vrr does not work with local dimming nor can this screen properly display 120hz at 4k.

But nevertheless the less I have one mounted right now. Beautiful display I don't feel hdr is terribly dim at all. Local dimming zones are massive so you might notice it with subtitles when the scenes are very dark.

Gray uniformity is not as good as Rtings suggests. Opposite of the qn90a which Rtings rated poorly for grey uniformity but turned out to be flawless. Probably because they tested a 65" while mine was an 85" panel.

I'm on the fence with this one. Also hearing it has a flaw where it randomly restarts.

Apparently the x90j has a newer processor (XR), while the x91j inherits the previous year's. But I haven't seen a good deal on the 75inch recently, though costco lists one here [costco.com], but likely OOS in most places.

For 2022, yes; its all XR-[55/65/75/85]X90K. (Don't believe there's a X91K). Good luck!

There's not an x91k. There is an 85" x90k which has the xr processor. But currently 2800 from costco

Yes. The 85" x90k which employs the xr chip unlike the x91j
