I just put one of these together today. They're just OK. The bright room ones are much better. These have 11" squares while the other are 13". Also, it is unfinished on the backside.

Additionally, there are a total of 18 screws on the outside that don't sit flush with the wood. If you're putting the long side down, and you're on tile, it will wobble because that side has three screws in the center (shorter side has six, but at least they are in three sets of two, instead of one down the center). It comes with caps to cover the screws that make it even worse. However, if you leave them off and have tile or other flooring, the screws would gouge the flooring if moved. This can be fixed with a countersink drill bit.

Why not put felt pads over the screw holes or on each corner to raise the shelf off the floor?

Because that would not fix the wobble

You get what you pay for….

Brightroom is way better than this one. It will do the job just not a pretty and sturdy as the Brightroom.

Many of the home items are 25% off online only. Just bought floating shelves; they were all 25% off.

Really wish i had waited months before jumping on this early in the year. With all these comments of Brightroom being more or less IKEA equivalent, I'm jealous of y'all

Wish these companies would have a modular system where it was just wooden boxes that can be stacked
